Well it is a fraction. A fraction represents a part of the whole. The number on the top of the slash is called the numerator whereas the number at the bottom is the denominator. The denominator tells us the total parts whereas the numerator tells us the parts used.
There are five types of fractions - Like, unlike, proper, improper and mixed fractions. Let’s learn all the types in detail.
