Picking up all four feet of a yearling for the first time - preparation for the farrier

Since this is the first time I have actually tried to pick up Senna's feet I thought I would show you the process. This is part of his basic halter training and preparing him for the farrier to eventually be able to pick up his feet and trim him.
He handled it very well, but I am still always cautious and I follow safety practicals to keep myself from getting kicked and bitten. You could include wearing a helmet as well although I don't in this video. Overall, I am very pleased how easy it was for the first time.
This procedure is repeated each session with him afterward just like you would pick the feet of any other aged horse.
