I’m feeling quite sentimental after seeing all of these clips. Touring with Beth, Ruth and Scott has been my most immersive musical experience so far. When you combine a long and busy touring schedule with a major change in time zones, there are some added elements of isolation from your normal routine. Pretty much everything outside of the tour is put on hold and you understand there is no quick or easy way to be with, or get help from home. That has both positive and negative effects but one thing that happens pretty quickly is that you bond with your new tour family. We were an unlikely mix of several generations that blended together wonderfully by way of the music we made every day.

This vlog covers the last month or so of the UK tour throughout England with one visit to Wales. The venues we were playing were consistently gorgeous and well attended with several sold-out shows and a couple of 2-night appearances. I did a little bit of everything of this tour including playing several instruments, selling merch and loading a lot of gear but I opted out of driving on the other side of the street. It was challenging enough just to walk around and not get hit. As polite as the audiences were every night, that doesn’t seem to extend to pedestrians on the narrow and treacherous UK streets :) It sounds like it won’t be long before I head back to new parts of the UK for some more touring and I can’t wait!

I’m 18 years old and I’m a professional musician, songwriter & artist based out of Nashville. I play lots of instruments but the ones that I’m hired to play most often are drums, cajon and bass. I’ve been posting music related videos on YouTube since I was 9 years old and began playing professionally at 14. I’ve always loved music and I’m grateful that it’s also become how I now make a living. This channel started as a combination of my fascination with drums and YouTubers and it’s now turned into a much larger music and music business diary. My goals haven’t changed all that much over the years and stay pretty simple. I’d love to keep making music and hope to keep getting better at it.
