Hello good people,
Mount of beatitudes or Har HaOsher in Hebrew is a hill found in the Northern Israel Galilee Region. It is where Jesus is believed to have taught the multitudes about the Blessed sayings (beatitudes) as recorded in the book of Matthew 5 - The Sermon on the mount.
Sermon on the Mount was Jesus first public sermon as recorded. It happened after Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist
There is a good view of Sea of Galilee from Mount of Beatitudes- Northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee.
The Church of the Beatitudes is a Roman Catholic Church under the Franciscans .
The area is very peaceful and beautiful
