Mount Gilboa is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament as the place where King Saul, Israel's first King took his own life by falling on his sword during a battle with the Philistines and his sons, Jonathan, Abinadab, and Melchishua being killed in battle as recorded in 1 Samuel 31
Gan Hashlosha, is a special garden located at base of Mount Gilboa in the Beit Shean valley its hot natural pools surrounded by palm trees gives it a good reason to be called the modern garden of Eden.
