After the Heavier Than Heaven tour, Nirvana would spend the rest of the year 1989 resting and planning the next album. In this same period, Cobain begins to date Tobi Vail and both think of putting a project together.

The band had some songs ready and Kurt was think about of some ideas. Nirvana works with Butch Vig to record the Sheep album in the first half of 1990 at Smart Studios. And after that, the album is released.

Nirvana's second album still has strong influence from the previous album. Sheep causes a riot in the underground, little by little they saw a future in that trio of Aberdeen. But it would be nothing compared to Nevermind's success.

After some shows promoting the album, Kurt Cobain was dissatisfied and tired of the band, and gradually he starts using heroin with Dylan. Krist would be drowning in drinks and Chad was getting ready to leave Nirvana. The sudden recording and lack of creative and contractual planning leave them extremely exhausted. 

Chad Channing decides to leave Nirvana and set up his own project. This all adds up to Kurt and Krist's strong anger about Sub Pop (who snubbed them) and the disgust they both had about that scene (which made them feel in high school again).

Cobain was friends with many people in Olympia and he joined the K Records crew. Kurt talks to Krist about all this sh*t and Nirvana take a sporadic pause. Krist will take advantage of this moment to recover and put his things in order where he worked. 

Kurt begins to work heavily on K Records and becomes the lead guitarist for Bikini Kill. So he gets more and more involved in the Riot Grrrl movement helping to produce some bands and to spread the discourse of this movement.

Later, Krist receives an invitation to participate in another band. What band will it be?
