A weakening moment of the Martial Arts occurred when students began to enter the dojo with committed intent to make things easier and cheaper for themselves. The dedicated, humble student molted into the demanding, arrogant customer.

However! ...the greater tragedy occurred when the Martial Arts teacher continued to teach students of this character, and issue them high ranking, for profit.

When we allow soft people to pick apart the Martial Arts so they can become masters of it, we degrade that which is truly offered from the Martial Arts which is a true path of struggle and hardship which teaches us to become better people of character.
