Journey to $1000/Day With Push Traffic on Propellerads [Part 2]

In today's video, you will get to see part 2 of my cpa marketing push traffic journey to $1,000 a day. This affiliate marketing training we will be using a live campaign that has been submitted for approval on PropellerAds. In every video, you will get to experience the cpa marketing process of testing, optimization, and responding to advertising rejections. Consider this a propellerads case study designed to help teach you what it takes to create winning push ads campaigns. We will be reviewing the data using the dashboard in Propellerads and Voluum.

As you can see there was no push traffic going to the campaign. Issues appeared one day after the campaign was set up. Tracking your costs and making sure your timezones are properly set up are critical in your push notification campaign.

For starters, the costs were not being tracked from PropellerAds to Voluum. On the first day, about $10 was spent in total for this cpa marketing campaign, which was not what it was supposed to do.

According to the break down of the user activity, you can see that for the Low push traffic campaign spent $5, the Medium push traffic campaign spent $1, and the High push traffic campaign spent $1. Without the push ads costs not being passed into Voluum for the zones, nothing will get tracked properly. You must always investigate your cpa marketing campaigns.

The information that we are about to review in PropellerAds, you can see multiple campaigns. There are so many because there is a complicated process for correcting rejected campaigns.

Instead of rejecting the push notifications all at once, I was only able to update one variant at a time. Which was a major headache, so I just duplicated the campaigns.

The rules have to be followed more closely. I am going too aggressive in the copy and creative and headlines according to the PropellerAds for certain geo's. It's a continuous process that appears to be specific to the algorithm in PropellerAds.

The best part about push traffic is zone id optimization. When the costs are being tracked properly in Voluum, you can look at where the conversions are coming from in order to track your spend in comparison to your click-through rates.

Because the data was not being passed back to Voluum, it's virtually no way to optimize the costs which means that this campaign will have to be rebuilt after completing and process of elimination.

Secondly, timezones do not match. There is a difference in data because of the timezones being off. PropellerAds runs in EST and after doing further research, that is the only timezone that can be used to provide the data.

It is generally very easy to change the timezone settings in your tracker, but when you don't have that option available, you should be able to track everything correctly by tracking the costs of your zones in PropellerAds. The clicks may be different because of the timezones but that won't be a major issue.
