With push notifications, you can easily test cpa offers with different traffic sources when you are not seeing traction with one. I figured we should be getting more traffic into our push ads from PropellerAds but after reviewing the data, I had second thoughts.

You want to be mindful of brokered traffic, however, the terms and conditions on the ads are different. The issue for me with PropellerAds is my copy and creatives were too aggressive and the appeal process was too time-consuming. However, PropellerAds is still an ideal platform to run CPC campaigns for testing based on the data gathered from my team.

Running CPM would not have faired out without the images and copy having been tested for CTR's anyway. This has turned out to be a very interesting PropellerAds case study because we have spent money on data and have had to repair a few issues along the way.

The previous campaigns in PropellerAds continued to get rejected after I duplicated and revised the push notifications. I'm curious to hear how that experience plays out with other networks like Megapush, Admave, Adsterra, and MGID.

On top of that, the cost and conversion-tracking were completely flawed. This is one of the hurdles you will frequently encounter when you are trying to turn a profit from your hard work in affiliate marketing and cpa marketing campaign. The geos were not interesting to me, but there is no use in giving up.

At first, I explored the volumes of another region and also different sweepstake cpa offers from the cpa network Big Bang Ads. After using Adplexity to review what type of cpa offers are dominating this particular region, I settled on focusing on improving the campaign that continued to get disapproved.

Ideally, now that we have run tests in this geo for other offers, we can look at the data to analyze the traffic volume in Voluum. You want to look at whether a particular campaign can be scaled once the zones are optimized. What you normally have to do is examine all of the cpa marketing variants that can be duplicated into the new campaign.

As you can see, my team is running an offer in PropellerAds which is doing pretty decent. I could review the CTR for the images, the spend for the zones in PropellerAds and Voluum, and review the push ads performance by day.

When we looked in Voluum, the conversions were not where we expected them to be. Optimizing the zones in PropellerAds is extremely important to make sure that the spend is being allocated properly.

In the end, I copied the text from a decent push notification in a new cpa marketing campaign that one of our media buyers is working on in Malaysia. We will test 2 different languages and one image.

The push notification cost model will be CPC to make sure that we get significant volume to the campaign.

We will also be targeting High mobile user activity, as these campaigns don't perform well on the desktop push notification placements. I also checked the conversion parameters and tokens in PropellerAds and Voluum to make sure the conversion data is pushed back from Voluum so we can review the data.
