Editing Details:

The editing process for our Counter Strike live-action fan-made trailer was driven by passion and nostalgia. As a long-time fan of Counter Strike 1.6, the goal was to capture the intensity and tactical realism that made the game a classic. Casting was a personal choice — Chris Hemsworth leads the squad, inspired by his role in Extraction and his ability to portray a hardened, battle-ready operator. Joining him are John Cena, chosen for his charisma and brute strength, and Michael B. Jordan, whose performance in Without Remorse gave the trailer a sharp, modern tactical edge.

From an editing standpoint, we focused on fast-paced cuts, gritty visuals, and authentic military action. The color grading leaned into desaturated, grounded tones to mirror the raw realism of urban warfare. We layered practical explosion effects and real weapon sounds to keep it immersive, while subtle nods to the original game — like HUD elements and sound cues — were added for longtime fans. Every frame was cut to reflect the strategic, team-based action that defined Counter Strike, while giving each character a cinematic presence. This trailer wasn’t just a tribute — it was a reimagining of what Counter Strike could be on the big screen.
