As of the making of this video, no official movie coming soon. Let’s never give up dreaming until this dream movie becomes reality!

►How do you make it clear its fan trailer not official?

Most fan trailers don’t have good reputation because they aren’t clearly labeled. At MacamTV, we set a good example by marking ours as fan made in the title and beginning/end of the video, while avoiding studio logos so viewers know they’re unofficial. The goal is to restore the true spirit of fan trailers, as fun, creative showcases of dream movies.

►How are dream trailers created?

I first become a fan of the franchise, then get knowledge about franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream movie. Then research “fresh” clips of the actors and anything to tell the story in the dream trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more.

Editing Details:

I had a lot of fun editing this Karate Kid 7 fan-made trailer as a huge fan of the franchise. For me, if there was ever going to be a 7th installment, the best way to go about it would be to bring back Jaden Smith’s character, Dre Parker. It’s been years since we last saw him, and revisiting his journey felt like the right way to continue the story. In this trailer, I wanted to create a natural continuation that pays tribute to the legacy of the films while giving fans something exciting to imagine on the big screen.

I begin the trailer with something lighthearted, with Li celebrating his victory with Mr. Han and Daniel. The plot I crafted centers around Dre Parker returning to see his mentor, Mr. Han, only to discover that he now has a new favorite student, Li Fong. This sparks a rivalry, as Dre struggles with jealousy and the feeling of being replaced. The tension builds up to the ultimate finale: Li Fong, guided by Daniel LaRusso in his corner, facing Dre Parker with Mr. Han at his side in the world karate championship. I designed it to honor both the original series and the 2010 reboot, bringing the best of both worlds into one climactic showdown.
