Pleats are an essential part of Victorian, Edwardian, Vintage and Modern clothes and costumes, however they can be seen as complicated and intimidating. In this video I show you how to make an easy and cheap DIY pleating board from materials you probably have around your home. I will also show you how to use your new pleating board to make crisp even pleats as long and as wide as you need.

A cheap and efficient way of creating all the pleats you could ever want for all of your dressmaking and sewing, both historical and modern.
