Aerial view of Shanghai, one of China’s most captivating cities. From the historic Bund waterfront to the futuristic skyline filled with awe-inspiring buildings.

Shanghai has grown into the largest and wealthiest city in China, and some of its transformations are absolutely mind-boggling. At the same time, the city keeps some of its original character in some of the traditional neighborhoods, creating stunning visual contrasts. The metropolis is one of China's most popular travel destinations to visit.

In this short film, I explore some of the main highlights of this modern Chinese megacity with a drone. You will see footage of the spectacular Pudong financial district (including its iconic three skyscrapers, the Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Shanghai Tower), the beautifully preserved Bund, some of the most photogenic intersections in the world, and more.

The video starts in the early morning and finishes up in the night, when the city’s epic skyline is illuminated with amazing neon lights.
