Meet Helga, a 3 year and 7 month old Rottweiler / Mix at KC Pet Project. Helga is a smart, beautiful and loving girl. She knows some basic commands and is always happy to show off her skills, especially if there's a treat involved. And she takes treats ever so gently! Helga's perfect day would involve retrieving tennis balls. She is happy to drop it in your hand so you can throw it again. Helga is also happy to bounce the ball around on her own- she’s very athletic!

Helga walks well on the leash. She mostly loves being with her favorite people. She's looking for a home that can appreciate her gentle strength and give her the structure, love, and attention she deserves. Helga was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they said, "We took Miss Helga out for a car ride and a little stroll outside. She was a perfect angel! She did extremely well with my 9 year old daughter. She knew how to match her energy levels based on who she was with. She was calm and gentle with my kiddo and then knew she could do the Rottie hard lean with my husband. Found out she loves squeaky tennis balls and snuggles. She is going to make an excellent family dog. Hope she gets adopted soon because she definitely a sweet heart!"

Helga is polite with other dogs in playgroups, showing a calm and tolerant demeanor that makes her a great match for many homes. Our staff will do any dog to dog introductions to ensure a good match.
