My love has Perfect Kitsch:
sharp eyes and ear for tacky gear.
It’s music heard within,
outrageous style that makes you grin.

If pitch is to music what kitsch is to style,
then the notes in her head make me smile.
And if kitsch is to fashion what pitch is to sound,
then my love’s fascination with kitsch decoration resounds.

Her spirit unbound!

Come hear her pitch for kitsch;
’twill free you from mundanity.
You’ll know that you’ve been blind,
now kitsch has opened up your mind.

If kitsch were the norm, you might try to conform
wearing headgear adorned with fake fruit.
Then find with surprise when one day you realize
that you’re quite satisfied eyeing life with no need to compute.

Ooo, that hat is a hoot!

Our house is rich with kitsch,
a silly swoon in every room.
Our natural native tongue:
a state of mind that keeps us young.

Give tchotchkes a spot and then tikis will squat
like a big Googie plot on the grounds.
Expect inspiration without reservation,
my Kitzel’s relations with kitschy vibrations astound.
