Blower Wars 3.0! Testing The New STIHL BR800 & ECHO PB-8010 Backpack Blowers

Today we tested out the brand new STIHL BR 800 backpack blower vs the ECHO PB 8010 and Redmax 8500! A lot of you guys were wanting to see all 3 in action, so we grabbed the leaf blowers and went out and had some fun testing them all out.

Most of you guys have seen the new STIHL BR 800C blower and ECHO PB 8010, but how do they compare against each other? When you look at the stats, they all seem to be pretty close, but how do they perform in the field, with real testing.

Stats are one thing, but looking at how they blow leaves is a whole different story. The big thing I took away from this test was the CFM or volume of air the new ECHO is moving. It was just insane. But STIHL answered with the side start technology, which I also think is a game changer.

That being said, Redmax's 8500 has been the most staple blower in my fleet since the beginning of our business. I feel it is the most balanced blower when it comes to power and performance. But all things being equal, I feel like that gap has closed. Now it's a brand choice, not so much a performance choice.
