iFlight Protek35 Chasing a BMX Racer

This is a very rough edit from some test flights chasing my son, who's a BMX racer with the Royston Rockets. This is the beginnings of a proof of concept that I've had in mind for a while.

I've been wanting to chase BMX racers ever since I took up FPV. I bought the iFlight Protek35 specifically for this project but I've not had a chance (weather/time) to get some test flights in until today.

The aim is to put together a video chasing multiple riders racing from different angles, so this is the first of several steps on that road (my son was the Guinea pig here ... props to him; if he seemed tired, that's because he'd done two hours of triathlon club training and then one and a half hours of BMX training prior to me getting the quad in the air!).

Big thanks to those at Royston Rockets BMX Club for allowing me to fly between coaching sessions.

List of stuff:
Quad: iFlight Protek35 (analogue) with ExpressLRS EP1 2.4GHz receiver

Camera: Insta360 One R
Transmitter: RadioMaster TX16s with HappyModel 2.4GHz ExpressLRS Module
FPV Goggles: Fatshark Dominator HD3 with True-D Diversity Receiver

Music:
Doves - "Cycle of Hurt"
