I quit my job. Going all-in on Youtube and Tiny Houses...

Today is such a scary, exciting, teary, anxiety-inducing and proud day in my life. Why? Because it isn't just the last day of my full-time job, but my entire advertising career. But before I get into that, I just wanted to thank #BlockAdvisors for making this video possible. So why did I quit? I did go to school to be an advertising copywriter after all right? I have spent the last eight years slinging headlines for cool brands like Gatorade, Old Smoky Moonshine and Hyundai right? It was my dream job right? Well, the answer to all of those questions is yes. But at the end of the day, I was just pretty good at it. And likely, I was never going to be great at it. And that's okay! I am sooooo damn happy that I was just "good." Because it showed me something—that I could be great at other things that I truly loved. Like being a short-term rental investor, or Youtuber, or tiny house builder.

I started this Youtube journey at the beginning of 2020. It was a fun hobby, but I knew pretty quickly it's what I wanted to do. Fast forward to a year later and I have 71,000 subscribers (WHAT!!). In all honestly, I still have not processed all of this. But I am humbled. By your support and encouragement to keep living my dream.

So that's exactly what I'm going to do. Today marks a new era, not just for the Robuilt @YouTube channel, but for my life. Because today is the day that I become a full-time Youtuber, #tinyhome builder, short-term rental consultant and #realestate entrepreneur. And while I'm walking away from a stable and incredibly reliable six-figure w-2 job: I have no doubt that it push me to create a better living for my family. All it's going to take is a little bit of hard work, tenacity, grit, perseverance and the occasional burrito🙂

Thank you for changing my life. For as long as you'll have me, I will keep making weird, goofy videos that I hope will bring a smile to your face.
