‘$2 billion in taxes every day’: James Ashby blasts governments for ‘spending issue’
One Nation Chief of Staff James Ashby has blasted Australian governments for their “spending issue”.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers will hand down the federal Budget on Tuesday, May 14.
“The problem is these governments have a spending issue,” Mr Ashby told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“They don’t have a revenue collection issue because, on average, across this country, all governments collectively collect $2 billion worth of taxes every single day, 365 days a year.”
