Homemade Sushi Challenge! Catch Clean Cook- Blackfin Tuna

It's Spring time in South Florida and that means pelagic fish such as Blackfin Tuna are on the move and migrating through the area. Blackfin Tuna are found in South year round but Spring through Fall is when they are most abundant, with April-June being the 3 best months for bigger 20+lb Tuna. Trolling planers, feathers and other lures this time of year can be very effective at targeting these fish. In the second part of this video I show you how to make a simple spicy tuna sushi roll, bonito sashimi and cilantro seared tuna. These are 3 very easy tuna recipes you can make at home and require very few ingredients. Always make sure to cut tuna against the grain with your knife. Brook and I love sushi and this sushi/ sashimi platter is a real treat for us!
