Nervous little dog reunited with his owner

About 3 weeks ago Oreo was surrendered by his owner. The woman had a stroke, legally deaf, Could no longer understand her native language and her English was very broken. She was forced to sell her home through some kind of masonicare deal and move into an apartment where they said she couldn't keep her dog. During the 3 weeks, the women couldn't sleep or eat, her blood pressure shot up, and I'd have to say that Oreo wasn't very happy either. He whaled and cried during the night and never really bonded with anyone at the shelter. Her doctor insisted she needed to get her dog back or her health would continue to deteriorate. After discussing with the woman's sister we decided to send the dog to live with her until we can get a doctors note and talk it over with the landlord about the dog returning to live with his mom full time. Update: Oreo is with mom full time now thanks to her wonderful doctor and a thing called compassion.
