Mosey proposed 6 major types of activity groups that helps occupational therapy practitioners hone in on the specific purpose of the group which guides the activities that OT practitioners choose. These groups are essential to know and help sharpen our understanding of how occupational therapist can leverage various types of activity groups to improve client's functional outcomes and meaningful participation in occupation.
