StrongFirst Kettlebell Simple and Sinister: "Simple" standard achievement
Simple and Sinister is a minimalist strength program created by Pavel. "Simple" and "Sinister" are two different achievements within this methodology. This video is me successfully accomplishing the "Simple" standard which is: 100 kettlebell Swings in 5 minutes +1 minute rest + 10 Get-Ups with a 32kg (71lb) kettlebell. The "Sinister" standard is the same routine but with a 48kg (106lb) kettlebell affectionately known as "The Beast." I intend to achieve the "Sinister" standard in the coming years.
This was shot while camping at Big Lagoon State Park in Florida. I traveled with my kettlebell because I had committed to this goal at this particular date several months prior and I can't let vacation be an excuse to delay my goal. I was wandering around exploring the park and found this stage and thought to myself "what a great place for the task."
