Misool: Wonders of A Super Reef 2019 4K (Misool Eco Resort, Papua, Raja Ampat)

Misool is remote and travelling there does take time and effort, but the rewards are substantial. The uninhabited island chain is home to one of the worlds most pristine reef systems, with incredible, unsurpassed biodiversity. Misool Eco Resort is the only resort there, and the whole surrounding region is subject to a strictly enforced 'no take' fishing ban, enforced by Rangers. Two dive sites stand out above the rest: Magic Mountain and Boo Window. I doubt you could find a more impressive site than Magic Mountain worldwide. Jelly Fish lake is also a remarkable experience; a sea water lake surrounded by limestone cliffs, cut off from the sea countless years ago. It is packed with four types of Jellyfish as well as many other sea creatures.The resort is fantastic and the staff are excellent. I would like to thank our terrific Dive Guide, Nudey, as well as Mark, The General Manager and Sabine for the additional shots of the resort. Also thank you to all other guests staying whilst i was there, who made the experience that much more enjoyable: Charles, Lexy, Andrew, Sheena, Brad, Liz etc.
