China accuses Philippines of illegally intruding into its waters

A Chinese coast guard ship has collided with a Philippine civilian ship near the disputed Spratly Islands in the South China Sea. China accused the Manila boat of illegally intruding into waters adjacent to areas of the South China Sea it claims as its own. But Manila refuted those charges, saying its boat was in international waters. Anushka Saxena from the Takshashila Institution has more on these tensions.
