2020 GoPro Motorplex Karting Challenge Round 2 Final 5/31/2020
Final for round two of the GoPro Motorplex Karting challenge. Started 2nd and finished 2nd. My teammate Tim Skinner and I executed a perfect plan and ran a perfect race. By the time we got to turn 4 of the first lap we were nose to tail and driving away. We didn’t run the fastest lap times but we ran the race perfectly and never broke the chain and ran glued to each other for the whole race. Sure I could have pulled out to pass him at any time but that would have opened up the window for both of us to be passed so I pushed him to the Finnish and was completely happy with the results. While the rest of the field was playing checkers we were playing chess. Borrowed that from a much more knowledgeable kart racer than me. Looking forward to the next race. Want to thank MGM chassis for building me the best kart I have ever driven and Dwayne Craver Racing engines for giving me the horse power to get the job done.
