This is a mesmerising tribute puzzle to Aad van de Wetering's sudokus from Sumanta Mukherjee. Please try this puzzle, it's sensational:

Rules: Normal sudoku rules apply. In the thermometer shape, digits must increase from the bulb end. The central grey 3x3 is a magic square (each of its rows/columns/main diagonals must sum to the same number). Cells connected by a knight's move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit.
