Perspective Projection In 3D Viewing In Computer Graphics HINDI
Perspective Projection
A perspective projection defines the projector lines that converge at the center of projection, which results in many visual effects of an object:
• Parallel lines not in a plane, parallel to the projected plane will converge at the vanishing point.
• Objects appear in different sizes based on the distance from the center of projection.
Depending on the projected plane and the principle axis of an object, a perspective projection is divided into three types:
• One-point perspective projection
• Two-point perspective projection
• Three-point perspective projection
One-point perspective projection
A perspective projection that forms when there exists a single principle face which is parallel to the projected plane. This is simply saying that a single vanishing point exists for an object.
Two-point perspective projection
A perspective projection that forms when a projected plane intersects at two principal axes of an object, that is, two vanishing points exist for an object.
Three-point perspective projection
A perspective projection that forms when a projected plane intersects at three principal axes of an object, that is, three vanishing points exist for an object.
Oblique Parallel Projection In 3D Viewing In Computer Graphics Hindi | Parallel Projection
Oblique projection is a type of parallel projection: it projects an image by intersecting parallel rays (projectors) from the three-dimensional source object with the drawing surface (projection plane).
Orthographic Parallel Projection In 3D Viewing In Computer Graphics Hindi | Parallel Projection
In parallel projection, the distance from the center of projection to project plane is infinite. In this type of projection, we connect the projected vertices by line segments which correspond to connections on the original object. Parallel projections are less realistic, but they are good for exact measurements.
