No coverage of COVID-19 issues which are ‘properly dealt with’ by President Trump

Sky News US political commentator Joe Hockey says there isn’t any coverage in the US about issues such as shortages in protective equipment or ICU capacity because it has been properly dealt with by President Donald Trump.

It comes as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi labelled the coronavirus the “Trump virus,” claiming the president has been a bad role model for the citizenry.

“We know where it started, we know how it’s being transmitted, and the fact is you’ve just got to put in place a mechanism that’s going to manage the spread of the virus,” Mr Hockey told Sky News host Paul Murray.
