The Needles (Squaw Flat) Campground - Canyonlands National Park

The Needles Campground, also known as Squaw Flat Campground, is located in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. In this video, we tour the campground followed by 20 minutes of the drive as we head towards Moab. The scenic drive includes parts of Canyonlands National Park and the Indian Creek Unit of Bears Ears National Monument.

* Open Year Round
* Elevation: 4900 ft
* Fee per Night: $20 (Plus entrance to Canyonlands National Park)
* Total Campsites: 27 + 3 Group Sites
* Potable Water, flush toilets, & trash service are available in the campground
* Reservations: Loop A is always first-come, first-served. Loop B has 12 sites that may be reserved from March 15-June 30 and September 1-October 31. Group sites are closed in winter and can be reserved from March 15-November 15
* Cell Service: No Service with AT&T or Verizon. Wifi available nearby at the Needles District Visitors Center
* 7 Day limit within a 30 day period
* Max RV Length = 28 feet
* RV Dump Stations are located in Moab & Monticello. Both are about 90 minutes away.
