EMS and the Metaverse

Description: Virtual reality (VR) will have a serious impact on how we simulate out-of-hospital care in the near- and long-term future. VR is a medium for experiential learning, and unlike any other educational technology before it, VR enables learning in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. The Metaverse, many posit will be a 3D version of the Internet, will be a place where students can experience a sense of “presence”, socialize, learn, and form a peer learning network.
