Electrician Quick Tip #3 - Removing Sheath From MC

Here’s a quick and easy way to remove the outer sheath from MC. This way is my go to. Roto-splits are great tools, but they are a bit bulky in my opinion. I’d much rather just use my diagonal cutters since I always have them on my anyways. With practice, I find this to be much quicker too. If you just score the sheath without cutting all the way through it, you don’t even risk nicking any wires. Now you know everything I know.
