Are Old Flagship Electronic Drumsets Still Worth Buying?

If you've ever been on ebay, you've seen them. Older flagship electronic drumsets. They are over 10 years old, but still cost $3000. Why is that happening, and are they still worth buying? My answer is: it depends. An older TD10 will go for $2300. Not a good price at all. Dated sounds, older drum pads. A DTXTREME III will go for $2000. Is it worth it? Maybe, but the pads are all rubber, and again, dated sounds. So really it depends on the drumset price and condition. But I'd be careful before buying any flagship drumset. They are overpriced at the moment. I personally don't see why a drumset that came out a decade ago should still cost $4000. Just my opinion though.
