Ryuten Hirabayashi-san has been playing traditional Japanese instruments for over 60 years and has performed around the world during her career. Around 2018 she opened up Kiotto to offer travelers to Japan the unique experience of playing the Koto themselves and hearing a live performance in a traditional Machiya townhouse. She loves to help people from different cultures learn how to play the Koto and she hopes to spread knowledge of these traditional instruments and Japanese culture.

平林さんは60年以上世界中で琴を奏でてきました。 そして、2018年に京町屋にて「きおっと」をオープンし、観光客に琴の演奏を教えたり、ライブ演奏を披露してきました。彼女は外国からの客人に琴を教えることとても楽しんでいて、その経験や日本の伝統芸能を世界に広めたいと思っています。
