NEVER, NEVER, NEVER USE A MICROWAVE OVEN FOR THIS FIX!!!

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE THIS BOARD OR ANY METALLIC PARTS IN A MICROWAVE OVEN EVER. PLACING METALLIC PARTS IN A MICROWAVE OVEN WILL CAUSE A FIRE!!.
DO NOT EVER USE A MICROWAVE OVEN FOR THIS!!

IN THIS REPAIR A CONVENTIONAL GAS (NATURAL GAS) BAKING OVEN IS USED. AN ELECTRIC OVEN CAN WORK ALSO.

TEST THE CARDBOARD BY ITSELF IN THE OVEN SET AT THE TEMPERATURE YOU WILL USE FOR 10 MINUTES FIRST, BEFORE PLACING YOUR MAINBOARD ON IT FOR REPAIR IN THE OVEN.

THIS WAY YOU CAN MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CARDBOARD WILL NOT CATCH FIRE BEFOREHAND AND AVOID THE FIRE MELTING YOUR BOARD.

THIS IS A SIMILAR PROCESS TO COOKING FROZEN PIZZA FROM THE SUPERMARKET IN THE OVEN.

This a repair for the LG 60PZ55 Television, but I believe this fix works for other LG TV series of this era.

**FOR SHARP AQUOS(2011 model), VIZIO AND “SUPER GENERAL” TV’S, READ THROUGH THE COMMENTS AND FIND THE SHARP, VIZIO, AND SUPER GENERAL USERS WHO HAD SUCCESS...there are comment posters below who fixed their 10yr old Vizio, 7yr old Sharp Aquos, and Super General tv main boards using this technique. I am hoping other owners who are brave enough to try will also chime in**

If you have time before perfoming the fix, please read through some of the comments. There are some great suggestions there by many viewers who have succesfully completed this fix, and suggest how to prolong the effectiveness of this fix as well.

****Also, an extra tip I was told by an electrical repair technician to make your tv last is to make sure to keep at least an 8-10 inch space/gap between the back of the television and the wall. This will allow for the excess heat build up to leave the television, and not break down the solder joints over time.
And another added fix to prevent this hdmi problem (and others) is to place a small standing fan from the side blowing wind by the rear of the television.

***From what I have been told, the new flat televisions are designed from factory for a 1.5-2.5 year use life. It was said the older flat panels to 2013's are designed to last longer. Hence why I am a big advocate of repairing my television (made 2008).
Here is the service repair manual for the LG 60PZ550 television:

The Television model is an LG PZ55 series TV (60 inch).
The Camera used: Sony A6000.
Oven temp range: ~365F to ~385F (~185C to ~196C)
Duration in Oven: ~10 min (After 10 min, turn off oven, open oven door, do not move board and allow board to completely cool.)
THE ISSUE:
The issue with the television was that the HDMI ports stopped working even though there were devices connected to them. When this would occur the TV screen would display "No Signal" as if the connected HDMI devices were not plugged in. Regardless if I power cycled the TV or the devices, unplugged and plugged the HDMI cables, the "No Signal" screen would not go away.

I believe a secondary reason why my LG tv may have had HDMI problems which could have compounded this issue is that I now realize that for the PlayStation 3, even though the LG TV, and PS3 (PlayStation 3) are off, there is parasitic voltage (small bit of voltage) still being applied through the HDMI cable from the PS3 to the TV. I don't know why this is happening, but I wonder if the HDMI cable to the TV being powered non stop for a a few years has anything to do with electrically prematurely wearing out some circuit components inside of the TV.
THE CULPRIT:
In this detailed video, I show how to remedy this.
This issue happened before about 2-3 years ago, and this is the same fix I used.

For certain electronic devices/boards in which bad solder joints cause failure, this method may work and remedy the situation. At first glance on the Main Board (HDMI/composite board) there were no visual signs of any burned components nor weird smells to indicate failure.
Hope this video helps those experiencing this.
