FALLOUT NEW VEGAS, THE PC VIDEO GAME
Fallout New Vegas is a post-apocalyptic action role-playing video game. It features first-person combat, there is a feature to change this to third-person (over the shoulder) combat. Like in Fallout 3 there is a Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System, or V.A.T.S., which is an active pause combat system that let's the player target specific body parts on our enemies.

The game was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks in 2010. It is not a sequel to Fallout 3, it's predecessor in the Fallout series. It is a stand-alone title that is not connected to the story of Fallout 3 and instead looks at a different part of the nuclear wastelands of the USA in the Fallout game universe.

THIS FALLOUT NEW VEGAS LET'S PLAY
We are playing the game in hardcore mode and with all DLCs (Ultimate Edition). The hardcore mode makes the game experience more realistic and introduces gameplay elements such as dehydration and non-instantaneous healing.

In this Let's Play we will see lots of gameplay and we will experience a complete playthrough. The goal is to see as much of the game as possible, for we are completionists. We will play as the good guys and hope to bring back some civilization to the post-apocalyptic USA. We help people and do good whenever possible.

As with all my Let's Plays this series also functions as a tutorial and walkthrough. We will see lots of uncut commented gameplay. In the end of this series of game videos I will add a video with my collected thoughts. That will function as a test and review for Fallout New Vegas.

My callsign is Hardball, PlayingHardball. I have always loved gaming. I am passionate about games as forms of art and ways of exploring narratives in interactive ways. I have been playing video games nearly all my life, on the internet for a few years now. I enjoy a great variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (like Mass Effect, Disco Elysium, The Witcher, etc), strategy/tactical games (like XCOM, Panzercorps, Total War etc), and RPGs (like Baldur's Gate, Pathfinder etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!
