Anzac Day a ‘critical day’ for Australia to mark veterans’ service

Soldier On CEO Amy Cooper says Anzac Day is a “critical day” for Australians to come together and honour those who have served the nation.

Ms Cooper joined Sky News Australia to discuss how her organisation aims to support veterans and their families in vital health and wellbeing services.

“Australia’s veterans do need our recognition and support,” Ms Cooper said.

She highlighted the importance of the community supporting veterans “every day”.

“Anzac Day is obviously a critical day for us to come together as a nation and mark their service.

“But I think it’s the ability of the community to support every day that makes a real difference.”
