Joe Biden putting a ‘Band-Aid’ on student loan debt problem
Wrong Speak Publishing founder Adam Coleman has accused President Joe Biden of putting a “Band-Aid” on the student loan debt problem instead of trying to fix the system.
The Biden administration announced last month a $US7.4 billion student debt cancellation scheme for 277,000 more Americans.
Mr Coleman hit out at universities for “price gouging” courses for young students.
“The actual problem is the price of college. It is not that debt exists,” he told Sky News host James Morrow.
“The debt is just the after-effect of the problem.”
