Impacts of UN Women and Government of Japan’s COVID 19 response programme in Zimbabwe
UN Women, with funding from the Government of Japan, partnered with Lower Guruve Development Association (LGDA) under the Japanese Supplementary Budget COVID-19 response programme to accelerate national vaccination programme in Guruve and Mbire districts, Mashonaland Central Province, Zimbabwe. The programme addresses COVID-19 vaccination information gaps, by engaging various stakeholders and experts to demystify myths surrounding COVID-19 vaccines, complement and accelerate government’s efforts to reach marginalized communities.
