i have so much to say but don't rly know how to express my words rn. i'm sure your comments will perfectly lay out everything on my mind but for now, i just wanted to share this.

when this channel was just starting out, someone had left a beautifully-written comment on one of my videos. they basically shared about the hardships they were facing at home, and in the end, expressed that bts' music was a way for them to escape their "home that isn't rly a home". i was so incredibly touched by those last words and that specific comment rly pushed me to keep making edits like this, and today, it's what inspired the concept behind this one.

it has been so long since i last saw that comment and i can't even find it anymore (to op, where are you? how are you these days). but the thing is, i still see similar comments just like it frm different ppl. maybe for some "home that isn't rly a home" could also be taken in a literal sense like the original comment intended, or it could manifest itself in the other hardships of life. nevertheless, the comments you leave down below for complete strangers like me to listen to and read are honest proof of the special connection armys have to bts' music and each other.

some of you might think i'm exaggerating or being corny ahaha but each day for almost three years, i come on here, and i read so many comments, love letters, stories - whatever you wanna call them - and it's not impossible to witness and appreciate the gravity of bts' music in some of our lives. who they are and the words they believe in are personified into their songs and i think that's the best part. it's like you're listening to a friend you've never met but feel so incredibly loved by and indebted to.

so, this is what bts' music is for me and maybe for some of you based on the things i've read here.

an escape from a home that isn't rly a home.
a healing call to somewhere comforting and safe.
a gentle hug to remind you that morning will come and that you never have to bear the nights alone.
