Mozilla explains Firefox crashes on Intel 13th/14th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs
Mozilla released Firefox 151.01 to fix crashes on some Intel 13th/14th Gen Raptor Lake systems. The issue, traced to faulty CPU microcode causing memory errors, triggered crashes in a compression routine. Intel’s newer microcode reduces the problem, but instability—worsened by heat—has been ongoing. The update resolves the crash and a separate Windows WebSerial issue.
