Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! In this video I want to share with you some recent Covid restrictions and requirements for Costa Rica. First of all, before you can even board your flight, you need health insurance for your entire stay. It has to be purchased from an official Costa Rican health site. I'll share some links down below. Also note that it is now required by the US gov't to have a negative Covid test within 3 days of entering the country. We were able to get tested at an urgent care facility there. It was a bit expensive ($160 USD) It also didn't help that we waited until the last minute to get tested. There are also options to have the healthcare workers come to you. I will leave their contact information below.

Now that we got all of the important things covered, let's get to the fun! First off all, let's welcome back my best bros Ken & Pat who partially overtook the video since I was a day late. You all haven't seen them since the Paris 2019 video.

Costa Rica was so beautiful. Our airbnb was literally in the middle of the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sound of exotic birds and monkeys. Truly unforgettable! There were so many waterfalls, beaches and so many cool activities to do. Some of the excursions were not available due to Covid. But we got to go white water rafting, parasailing, and tour beaches and waterfalls. There isn't much night life because Costa Rica has a curfew of 9pm. So if you're looking to club, Costa Rica might not be a great idea right now.

All in all I highly recommend visiting and I will be back. I enjoyed the people, the food and the overall vibe of the country.
