►Audi RS models are a range of high performance versions of certain car models of the German automotive company Audi AG. These cars primarily focus on enhanced "sport" performance.

►25 years ago, the first Audi RS model was launched on the market in the form of the Audi RS 2 Avant, marking the beginning of a success story. With their proximity to motor racing and their exclusiveness, the Audi RS models have always held a particular fascination.

►The RS in Audi RS stands for Rennsport, German for “racing sport,” indicating their enhanced focus on sports car performance. But for automotive fanatics, those two simple letters are an evocative byword for truly special cars with fantastic drivetrain solutions and abundant traction.

►Born out of a partnership with Porsche, Audi’s RS series grew from a single imprint into a constant presence in most of the manufacturer’s model lines.

►There used to be only one RS model in production at a time, but recently Audi has revised its policies and decided to make more than one RS model at a time, claiming that "customers want them, then why not give it to them".
