Hiking and caving in Coronado National Memorial
Coronado National Memorial commemorates the expedition of Francisco Vázquez de Coronado in 1540, as he sought to find the mystical Seven Cities of Gold. We did the scenic drive up the Montezuma Pass, then hiked to the Coronado peak and a little bit of Joe's Canyon trail. We finished with exploring Coronado cave which is a wild limestone cave.
