Home Made 0.8mm Nozzle For The Geeetech A30
Hi Guys!
I'm currently in the process of printing surgical mask ear savers for many friends and family. I have the Artillery 3D SW-X1 set up with a 0.8mm nozzle, but it has a volcano hot end. Another large printer I have is a the Geeetech A30 which has a 0.4mm nozzle, but doesn't have a volcano hot end. So for a test and in hopes of speeding up my production capacity I decided to try a little experiment. Drill a 0.4mm nozzle to a 0.8mm nozzle.
I went to Harbor Freight and they had a set of micro metric drill bits. Thankfully it had 0.8mm bits in the set.
To my surprise, this actually is working. I have completed 64 ear savers in the last 6 hours with this printer alone.
Thank you very much for watching!!!
