Bad PCB Routing Starts Here

If your PCB routing keeps turning into spaghetti,
DRC passes, but the board still behaves unstably —
the problem is usually not the routing itself.

It’s component placement.

Three rules separate professional PCB layouts from chaotic ones:

• Lock mechanical constraints first — connectors, buttons, board outline, enclosure limits
• Design for manufacturability/serviceability — avoid impossible soldering and repair situations
• Protect signal integrity — group functional blocks, separate analog/digital, keep decoupling close, minimize critical loop areas

A simple sign of poor placement:
If you constantly route around obstacles, add unnecessary vias, and twist traces through gaps — your placement is wrong.

Professional routing starts before routing.
