We're starting out this season with a big one! Mount Elbert is the highest point in Colorado and the third highest state highpoint. It is also the first 14er in the quest for 56. We took the south trail up the mountain which made a longer day, but the weather was excellent. Leadville has a fascinating history and is one of the highest incorporated cities in the the United States. It experienced the west when it was really wild. Join us as we explore America and go highpointing!
