Al Sharpton eulogy at George Floyd funeral

Rev. Al Sharpton delivers the eulogy and he starts his speech with recognizing the families of Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin and Botham Jean -- all who were in attendance.

George Floyd, who was 46 when he was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will be laid to rest next to his mother in Houston, Texas.

His death inspired a worldwide reckoning over racial injustice. Four Minneapolis officers were charged in connection with Floyd's death. Video showed a white Minneapolis police officer pressing a knee into Floyd's neck for several minutes. Floyd can repeatedly be heard saying, "I can't breathe."

His funeral, which is scheduled to begin at noon Eastern time, will be televised but closed to the public. A public memorial service was held Monday in Houston, where he grew up. Memorial services were also held in North Carolina, where he was born, and in Minneapolis.
