Mama Josey's Jollof is a mixed media, animated short film depicting my love for my mum's jollof rice and how this food is more than just a dish. From being fed to me as a tangible form of love to being a food that brings friends and family together, jollof holds a lot of power. Of course there's the whole debate on who makes it better, Ghanaians or Nigerians (I pick the latter since I am biased hehe), but there's no doubt that it's still a food highly loved.

I'd like to say a massive thank you to my friends and family who let me use some archive videos of them dancing for my animations, as well as my fellow queens for being the best hype team for my dance section!! Also an honourable mention to my tutor Grace Brennan because she's simply incredible and always gave me a push when I needed it.
