Replacing aftermarket throttle cable in the 97 Chevy K3500 dually. Using previous generation cables!
We had issues with the cable that was installed when I purchased this truck. We wanted and tried to use stock brackets from a TBI truck 88-95... Ended up using a generic one from the internets of all places, and it broke but @Mikesmoneypitgarage rigged up a temporary one by extending where it broke. Still need to align it and will eventually make a better one, maybe not since this temporary fix could last forever, as they usually do!!
Next for this is a road test to Mikes and then swap back to my larger carburetor and see how she performs. Unknown Cam and headers came with the truck. Some tuning left to do and then maybe her dash....
